Programs
The curriculum at the Children's Center evolves from the children's interests and experiences. As new ideas emerge, they are integrated into the curriculum. These child-centered classrooms encourage independent thinking and freedom to choose activities that engage children. This allows children to develop individually, incorporating new knowledge at their own pace. Themes may be selected by teacher’s ideas and observations, direct input from the children, or a combination of both. Each classroom provides a unique experience for the children that is determined by the developmental level of that age group as well as the background and strengths of individual staff
